Classic Home-made beef burger

 500 g Beef – Minced / Ground chuck beef
 ½ tbsp Olive oil
 1 Onion, peeled and chopped
 2 Cloves garlic
 1 tsp Mixed dried herbs
 1 Egg - beaten
 Soy Sauce
 4 Cheddar Cheese Slices
 ½ Green lettuce leaves bunch
 2 Tomato, thinly sliced
 Pepper and salt - to taste
 Ketchup (optional)
 Mayonnaise (optional)

In a large frying pan, put oil and fry the onion and garlic until golden brown.

Set aside for a few minutes.

In a large bowl, mix the beef, egg, fried onion, and garlic, Herbs, Soy sauce, pepper, salt.

Now divide the mixture into 4 portions equal in size. Size (width) should be lesser than your burger bun size.

Preheat the barbecue grill and put oil on it, then cook the burgers [meat] for 5 minutes. Each side needs to be grilled perfectly.

If you are using cheese put the cheese slice on top of it once one side is grilled.

Take the buns and cut sides of the bun.

Add lettuce, tomato slices, grilled burger, onion (if you are using)
Put ketchup and mayonnaise if you like.

Set bun tops in place.

Serve with ketchup or mayonnaise as you wish!
