Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

 1 cup Sugar
 ½ cup Butter (Room Temperature)
 ½ cup Peanut Butter
 1 Egg
 1 ¼ cups Flour
 ¾ tsp Baking Soda
 ½ tsp Baking Powder
 ¼ tsp Salt
 ½ tsp Almond Essence
 1 tsp Vanilla
 2 tbsp Milk If Necessary [Add 3 if needed]

Beat the butter till creamy for around 2 minutes time.

Add the ground sugar beat for another 2 minutes time.

Add peanut butter and egg and beat again.

Mix the dry ingredients (baking soda, baking powder, and salt with flour until mixed well).

Now add the dry ingredients into the mixture and mix well until well combined.

Add Vanilla

Add Almon essence

Mix everything well together.

Wrap the dough in plastic [food wrapper, cling film] and refrigerate for around 3 hours time.

Once time is up, get the dough and make small balls and flatten each ball. Make it like a button-shaped cookie or any kind of shape you like.

Make sure cookies are not touching each other when you place them in the oven tray and there is room for expansion.

Heat the oven to 160 °C

Bake until light brown for 10-15 minutes.

Notes :
If you have extra peanut butter at home, reduce the butter quantity and instead of butter use peanut butter. Sum should be tally with the main recipe butter + peanut butter ingredients quantities.
Grind the sugar before adding them. Then it is easy to mix them well.
Milk is not a mandatory item, if your dough is not mixing well add a little bit of milk (start with 1 tablespoon and add more if necessary)
