Aromatic pan fried potatoes

Even you have kids who are asking for an evening snack or a party is coming up and you are thinking to do something other than the usual potato chips you fry this is totally for you. This is one of the easy meals to prepare.

 400 g Potatoes – Cut Into Wedges
 ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
 Salt to Taste
  Pepper to Taste
 Red Chili to Taste
 Vegetable Oil for Frying
 3 Cloves
 2 Cardamom

Grind/Chopped cloves and cardamom together and keep them aside.

Blanched the potatoes in boiling water and strain well.

Make sure it doesn’t boil too much.

Allow to cool.

Mix potatoes with Turmeric powder, pepper, chili, salt, chopped cardamom and cloves.

Deep fry the potatoes now until crisp and golden.

Serve hot with your choice of dressing.
