We were planning on a trip and I was thinking I should bake some cookies to take so that we can eat them on our way. Luckily, I had peanut butter in my refrigerator. I went back to my room and dig through my recipe books. I found out the peanut butter cookies recipe which was given by my grandmother to us.
My sister had written down the recipe in my book. I was a little worried because it was her who wrote the recipe in my book, but I trust her and start picking up my ingredients one by one.
I remembered the days we used to bake with my grandmother while my mother is away working in a concrete world. We had a fun time when we were kids. We loved to bake and make different recipes that were originally generated by our sweet grandmom.
So I’m passing down the peanut butter recipe of her to you guys,! 😊
Before I forget to tell, though my sister wrote down, this came out perfectly fine and nicer than I ever thought. Everyone who went on our journey enjoyed it and it vanished liked bubbles at that time. I doubled the original recipe when I’m making it for our journey.
Beat the butter till creamy for around 2 minutes time.
Add the ground sugar beat for another 2 minutes time.
Add peanut butter and egg and beat again.
Mix the dry ingredients (baking soda, baking powder, and salt with flour until mixed well).
Now add the dry ingredients into the mixture and mix well until well combined.
Add Vanilla
Add Almon essence
Mix everything well together.
Wrap the dough in plastic [food wrapper, cling film] and refrigerate for around 3 hours time.
Once time is up, get the dough and make small balls and flatten each ball. Make it like a button-shaped cookie or any kind of shape you like.
Make sure cookies are not touching each other when you place them in the oven tray and there is room for expansion.
Heat the oven to 160 °C
Bake until light brown for 10-15 minutes.
Come out cookie monsters! Let's eat!!!!
